Gibson Les Paul Standard, Tobacco Sunburst (1975)
Vintage
Finished off at Gibson's Kalamazoo plant in November of 1975, this lovely Les Paul Standard bears a classic Tobacco Sunburst finish with some excellent sounding Patent Stamp humbuckers
What To Know
With mini-humbucker equipped Les Pauls dominating the earlier part of the decade, this 1975 Gibson Les Paul Standard bears more of a classic resemblance to the great late 50s guitars we know and lust.A sweet sounding pair of original Patent Stamp full-size humbuckers deliver some great punch, and combined with the all-Maple construction the tone is clear and dynamic.
Surviving the 70s in all-original condition is quite a feat for these guitars, especially during the guitar mod explosion that was occurring at the time. Seemingly unchanged from the factory, it's got all of its original plastics, hardware, and electronics. It has also been well maintained with only the more pedestrian wear marks common with a guitar of its age - just some body edge nicks and scuffs and light swirl marks here and there.
Priced with original hardshell case.
