This 1965 Gibson J-50 is just into the shop on trade! A particularly nice-sounding example for a mid-60's guitar, it retains the desirable 1 11/16" nut width and comfortable, fuller, rounded neck carve. The voice is bright and woody, with terrific openness and fullness in the low end. In search of that prototypical thumpy n' clear Gibson strumming guitar for country & folk vocal accompaniment? Here it is!
Condition: we'd rate this one very good overall, meaning it only exhibits the expected signs of playwear and finish checking associated with vintage guitars. The original bridge has been replaced, in favor of one with a new bone saddle. Mild fret wear is present, though it does not affect playability or intonation. The guitar is priced with its original case. Please call for an in-hand description!
