This 1999 Gibson J-185 is just into the shop on trade! An exceptionally nice sounding example of the model, this guitar is very open and rich-sounding, with the expected punch and clarity of a Maple jumbo. Its compact body size and short scale make it an ideal choice for a strummer interested in an easy-playing, full-sounding guitar with which to front a band.

Condition: we'd rate this guitar "very good" overall. In terms of cosmetics, the most important thing to note is the finish checking visible across most of the body (it's difficult to see until the guitar is angled in reflected light). This sort of crazing is not uncommon on a 25-year old guitar with a thin finish, and does not affect the sound or structural integrity in any way. This J-185 has been freshly setup in our shop, and requires no further attention at this time. Priced with thermoplastic hardshell case.
