A recent, pro refret elevates not only the playability, but the tone and responsiveness of this stellar vintage Gibson!

Wonderful, clean H-4 Gibson mandola just in, imbued with that warm tone and wide open character we prize in these instruments. A recent refret and setup by Max Girouard makes all the difference, as this mandola plays absolutely effortlessly now. If you are someone who loves the sound of a vintage Gibson mandola but have never gotten along with those skinny, low banjo frets, this just may be the best of both worlds you have been seeking.

This mandola comes to us in very good overall condition. The original, one-piece bridge is included in the original case.
