Simply one of the sweetest-sounding F-4 mandolins we have had in recent memory. This instrument has enjoyed a healthy, active life to date. Touched up or possibly refinished, but if so, the very thin finish seems to have enhanced, not hindered, the resonance of the mandolin. We don't see natural finish examples as often, either, adding to what was already an appealing sonic package.

Original tailpiece with engraved Gibson coverplate; original pickguard; replaced, period-correct tuners complete the package.
