2020 Gibson Custom Shop 'CME Spec' Les Paul 1959 Reissue just in! This is a special, early serial example of a great R9 with handpicked top from CME's finest, along with an excellent sounding set of Custom S Buckers to boot.

Coming in just a few ounces shy of 9lbs on our scale, it's about as ideal of an LP weight as you'll find. It's also got a beautifull dark Rosewood fingerboard that reminds us of some of those original Brazilian board LPs of the 1950s.

This came in from a pro player who gigged with the guitar for the last few years. It shows some nice natural play wear throughout, with some picking scuffs on the bass side above the strings and some buckle rash on the back. There's evidence of some light fret wear but there's still plenty of wire to work with. It's truly very comfortably broken in.

The guitar is stamped 'DEMO' on the back of the headstock, which likely refers to it being an artist/endorsement guitar. The COA is unique as well, tied to Gibson Repair & Restoration but still bearing the COA language found on production models.
