Although this 1965 Gibson Country Western is marked as a factory second, we're struggling to understand why it was ever designated so (but we are talking about Gibson here, so all bets are off). This is one of the cleanest old CW models we've ever seen, with terrific sound to boot. This guitar has a great combination of woody Gibson thump and high-end chime, giving it both depth and presence in a mix. Simply put, it's one of those joyous-to-play Gibson dreadnoughts that makes one song lead into another, then another, then another ... and pretty soon hours have gone by!
Condition: as mentioned, this guitar is super-clean in vintage-guitar terms. Its structure is completely original, with no modifications; and all its original hardware functions as it should. The finish displays the expected degree of checking, and a smattering of dings and scratches consistent with age. We invite any interested parties to call us for an in-hand description! Priced with aftermarket hardshell case.
