Gibson's latest incantation of their fabled "Banner" J-45 brings a thermally cured Red Spruce top to the table, producing bold, powerful tones that retain depth and clarity whether flatpicked or fingerpicked. Players interested in the classic Gibson rhythm "thump" will love what this guitar churns out; and its light build structure offers a super-pleasing responsiveness to boot.
Condition: this guitar is hardly a year old, and, as such, remains in very good condition. It has been played, and shows a few errant pick marks; but overall the cosmetics are nearly clean-as-they-get condition. The slight 'pebbling' seen in the finish is inherent to the thinness of the lacquer Gibson employs when spraying these guitars. A few areas on the guitar have dulled a bit from use. Newly setup in our shop, and ready to go for its next owner. On consignment; priced with its original hard case.
