For our money, this Tele is an example of the Fender Custom Shop at its best—designed to make you feel like it was made just for you.

Loaded with Custom Shop hand-wound "Loaded 51 Nocaster" pickups and Fat ‘50s Tele wiring, this guitar is all about tone and responsiveness. From crisp highs to warm lows, the slightly overwound Nocaster pickups do a bit of the work for you, which we always really appreciate. Meaning, if you're a lighter player - you don't dig in with your right hand too much - these pickups, with their slightly increased output, deliver beautiful Tele tones without having to work hard to get it. No doubt the roasted maple neck is adding to the equation - this is a remarkably loud, sustain-heavy, and resonant guitar when played acoustically.

The details are really what set this guitar apart from other Custom Shop Teles. The ultra comfortable '57-style Soft "V" neck, and the contoured heel, make it a joy to play. The compound radius fretboard (from 9.5" to 12"), jumbo frets, and classic '51 Nocaster bridge with compensated RSD brass saddles all come together to give you a more refined feeling Tele.
