Perhaps one of the most legendary guitar amplifiers ever made, this 1957 Fender 5E3 Deluxe Amp is a fantastic sounding example with loads of character.
What To Know
Widely considered to be one of the most iconic guitar amplifiers in history, the Fender 5E3 Deluxe is the gold standard for low/mid powered Tweed tone.
This lovely example was built in May of 1957 and is ripe with that classic tone along with a beautiful naturally aged aesthetic that oozes vibe.
Recently serviced by Danl Lurie of Fyd Amps in Vermont, the amplifier has been meticulously gone through. All of its original filter and coupling caps have been expertly replaced, and a new 3-prong cable was installed for safety. The original handle had worn out, so a nice replacement was installed for years of reliable use. A fresh Jensen P12Q was also installed as the original was long gone when its current owner acquired the amp.
If you've longed for an original 50s Tweed Deluxe but want the reliability of a modern built amp while maintaining the critical tone recipe, this one's for you.
