This Fairbanks F-45 has just come into the shop on trade! Simply put, there is no finer interpretation of a Banner-era slope D in the current guitarosphere. A Fairbanks F-45 channels the woody bark and high-mid chime we love in a slope dreadnought perfectly. And perhaps more importantly -- it channels the vibe and feel of one of those guitars. The Aged finish gives this instrument a huge, wide open sound alongside a looseness of response that'll have you thinking you're playing something 60 years old.
Condition: this guitar could rightfully be described as "as new" since the distressed finish and all accompanying relic treatments are factory-original. It has been perfectly kept since then, diligently humidified, and freshly setup in our shop. Long story short? It's in great overall shape, plays beautifully, and sounds exactly like an old J-45 should sound. Priced with its original hard case.
