Rarely available, pre-owned Ellis F5 "Traditional" mandolin just into the shop for consignment! The Ellis "Traditional" model harkens back to Loar-era instruments in looks and tone, featuring and elongated pickguard, a darker tobacco sunburst, and a stripped down aesthetic channeling the greatest F5s of them all. This instrument, while pre-owned, remains in excellent condition. While a magnifying glass may reveal some minor signs of handling, most customers would probably mistake this for a new instrument in our showroom. Powerful, dry voice that's well-suited for a bluegrass player but capable of making whatever you've got to give it sound great. Priced with Calton Case.
