Paired up with a set of Lollar P90s and a beautiful Sunburst finish, this all-Mahogany SoCo presents a different flavor compared to the maple-topped or laminate-body SoCos more commonly seen. Acoustically, it rings like a bell, with great natural sustain and fundamental power. The Lollar P90s capture that vibe effortlessly, with some great snap and definition. The sweetness is still there, though. Flip to the neck pickup and you've still got your thinline archtop tone, but with a little more body and focus. This is the guitar that makes you wonder what it would've sounded like if Gibson ever made a thinline Les Paul Special in a way. It's definitely one of the cooler Collings semi-hollows we've seen in a bit!
