Interested in a Collings OM-42 Traditional? This one should check all the boxes. Pre-owned but minty? Yes. Collings Case? Yes. Less expensive than new and no wait time? Check. Super comfortable, standard Collings modified V neck in place of the chunkier "Traditional" profile? Yep. Wait, say that again? Yes, Collings made this guitar with their standard neck shape (the one you'd find on a Standard Series OM) in place of the chunkier, 30's Martin style carve you find on their traditional models. Does it make a difference as it relates to sound? Not as far as we can hear. This is a dynamite sounding guitar, with great depth of tone, sustain, and that rounded off note "pop" you'd expect from a Traditional OM with a torrefied top. It bears repeating that this guitar is in near mint condition--so if you're the particular type, you can buy this one in confidence. On consignment.
