Italian spruce ranges in density, but the wood that Collings sources bears some similarity to Adirondack—stiff, light, with a strong fundamental—but also has a sweet top end. A gorgeous set of Birdseye maple adds an unmistakable elegance to this build, and the varnish finish adds that extra responsiveness that these mandolins are prized for.

This mandolin comes to us in very good condition, with only the usual light signs of prior handling apparent. Priced with original TKL hardshell case.
