What To Know
Given the rarity of new Collings MT2 models right now, we're guessing most players would be thrilled to get their hands on this instrument! Torrefied top. Birdseye Maple. You can guess how it sounds, right? Bold, crisp, and clear, with the incredible volume and projection on which Collings has built their reputation. While the mandolin remains in very good condition, it's not for anyone who demands mint, mint, mint. In addition to a speed neck treatment (which makes it feel great, for what that's worth), there are a few minor scratches on the sides and top, a minor mark from a clip-on tuner on the peghead veneer, and a minor finish bubble on the underside of the fingerboard extension. Priced with a non-original Airloom hard case.
Please note: used instruments are, well, used. We pride ourselves on thoroughly vetting, and carefully photographing, each pre-owned instrument we sell, but many of them carry subtle signs of handling that can escape even the most discerning eye. If you have questions about the condition of this instrument, we invite you to call us for an in-hand description. We're here to help!
