The build quality and design touches are just stunning (purfling and broken glass inlays on the fingerboard and headstock). Extremely light for a 335 style guitar - they tend to average around 7lbs - this guitar is very resonant both acoustically and plugged in. The I-35 Deluxe, with its carved mahogany body and carved maple top, provides a bit more harmonic complexity and richness than a maple laminate I-35, but with that familiar airiness exhibited in a semi-hollow electric.
