Take the best 335 you've played and kick every aspect of that guitar up a few notches and you'll start to get a sense of what these guitars are all about.
Why We Love This
The build quality and design touches are just stunning (purfling and broken glass inlays on the fingerboard and headstock). Extremely light for a 335 style guitar - they tend to average around 7lbs - this guitar is very resonant both acoustically and plugged in. The set-up and fretwork are perfect, which ultimately means this guitar works with you - anything you want to play, it's right there with you and doesn't fight you. Honestly? You'd be hard pressed to find a guitar that's easier to play.
The I-35 Deluxe, with its carved mahogany body and carved maple top, provides a bit more harmonic complexity and richness than a maple laminate I-35, but with that familiar airiness exhibited in a semi-hollow electric. The Throbak SLE 101+ pickups help deliver a powerful yet articular voice ripe with midrange punch and unmistakable vintage clarity. It's a devastatingly versatile match, capable of delivering jazz, rock, blues, and even country with the right approach.

Brand Story
"Every day we try to make a better guitar, every day. You're trying to reach for more, trying to do better, not trying to do the same. A lot of companies are trying to do the same, and that's okay - that's their deal. We're trying to stretch that. Our goal is a little more."
