An early example of Collings' semi-hollow electric, this I-35 Deluxe features an absolutely breathtaking solid Quilted Maple top in a custom Cherry-meets-Crimson finish. It was custom ordered back in 2007 with its inspiration coming from the classic early 60s dot neck ES-335 model. Combined with Collings' refinement and high-level build quality, it remains as formidable a modern electric as you'll find on the market.

This I-35 is loaded with sweet sounding Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers and outfitted with ivoroid treatments throughout - humbucker rings, knobs, truss rod cover, and binding. The absence of a pickguard is welcome here - there's no way you'd want to cover up any of the figure on this incredible top!

Condition remains great almost 20 years later. It's clear the guitar was cherished and well maintained, with only light signs of use throughout. There are some paint pick scratches on the top and a few light scuffs on the back. Frets are in great condition and the setup is spot-on. It's also incredibly light at just under 6 3/4 lbs!

We're not sure you could order an I-35 with a top like this today if you tried - what a beauty!
