Collings really nailed it with this model - all of the great qualities of a thinline hollowbody electric are present in the I-30 LC, albeit with a more refined feel and a high level of comfort and playability.

These are incredibly lightweight and resonant instruments that have such a lyrical voice to them - expressive, dynamic, and nuanced. The Throbak P90s capture much of that acoustic essence and deliver plugged-in tones that have equal parts warmth and clarity.

The full body Olive Drab finish suits the silhouette in such a classy way, with great contrast between the black plastics and the ivoroid binding. This "custom color" isn't necessarily traditional, but it does embody a classic look that just plain fits, especially when it's applied by some of the most talented instrument finishers in the industry.
