The date on the calendar was pinned for the arrival of this one...

This Collings I-30LC Deluxe in Dark Cherry Sunburst has a combination of features that make it one of the most "custom" styled variants of this model we've had in the shop, and we've had a lot!

Tortoiseshell is the theme here. Not only does Collings make some beautiful faux 'shell, but it adds a level of dimensionality - particularly to the Dark Cherry 'Burst - that has to be seen to be appreciated. Body binding, fingerboard binding, peghead binding... It's aesthetically captivating at every angle.

To turn things up another notch, we've elected to go the humbucker rout (pun fully intended) and outfit this I-30 with a set of amazing Ron Ellis pickups. This guitar is rocking his LRP set, based off the sound of Lee Roy Parnell's '57 Goldtop. These pickups capture that incredibly vintage sound and are open and sparkly with big single coil tone.
