Why We Love This

While semi-hollowbody ES-335 style guitars are amazing, the totally hollow ES-330 style has an overall musicality that makes them almost as versatile while being quite a bit lighter weight. The I-30 LC is Collings improved and refined version of the lauded ES-330.

Collings absolutely nailed it with their aged finish I-30 LC (Laminate Construction) model. All of the qualities of a thinline hollowbody electric are present in the I-30 LC, albeit with a more refined feel and a high level of comfort and playability. The Lollar P90s capture much of that acoustic essence and deliver plugged-in tones that have equal parts warmth and clarity.

Like all Collings guitars, the build, fit-finish, setup, playability, and tones are perfect, quite literally. Worth every last penny, no question.
