All of the things that make vintage Gibson ES-330s so great - light as air, perfectly balanced, killer acoustic tones and plugged in tones - have been perfected by Collings and their I-30 LC.

When you sit down with one of these guitars, they instantly just feel right. The way the neck carve has that late 50's C shape - not too much shoulder - just round and every-so-slightly flat...perfect.

Hit your first chord and you're greeted to that dry, papery midrange that great vintage guitars have. These guitars will upend any preconceived notions you may have about a totally hollow, P90-equipped guitar. They cover an astounding range of tones and genres. The Throbak P90s just have the late 50s P90 sound - great midrange bite, balanced bass and treble, medium-ish output...so, so good.

Like all Collings guitars, the build, fit-finish, setup, playability, and tones are perfect. The aging is also incredibly well done. Just light (very light) finish checking, perfectly yellowed binding, and light wear on the nickel parts.

Condition: Excellent/near mint. This guitar looks to be essentially unplayed but it is used, hence the excellent rating in case we overlooked a minor sign of prior ownership.

In truth, we're not sure what else you could possibly want from a guitar of this style. Just exceptional in every way. Priced with hardshell case.
