This "large-sounding" (thanks for the expression, Lyle Lovett) Collings D2HA has just come into the shop on trade! The guitar features some seriously beautiful Madagascar Rosewood back and sides (this wood certainly wood have been "A" grade stuff when the guitar was made in 2010), and an equally pretty Adirondack Spruce top. The sound is penetrating, focused, and wide open -- it's an excellent bluegrass flatpicking guitar, with a lush, bright voice that shimmers beautifully in open tunings as well.

Condition: we'd rate this guitar "excellent" overall. There's one small ding on the back; and aside from that, there's not much to say. A few faint pick scratches are visible on the 'guard when you angle the guitar in refracted light. There's a whisper of fret wear on the treble strings in the open position, but nothing that need be addressed at this time. Priced with its original TKL hard case.
