Fantastic deal on a just barely pre-owned 2020 Collings D2H Adirondack Tradtional, featuring their new Vintage Satin finish option (the same matte finish you may have seen gracing their OM1 Julian Lage model). The T Series guitars from Collings reflect a desire to revive the classic building techniques of the 1930's, integrating them seamlessly with the modern standards of playability and finish work for which Collings sets the bar - and the satin finish adds to the old-world vibe while simultaneously warming up the sound. This D2HA-T has an absolutely huge sound - and we notice much-improved bass response with an overall drier, rounder tone under the satin finish. We're in the realm of subtlety to be sure, but if you like the Collings clarity and punch, yet long for a mellower sound, a Traditional with vintage satin lacquer may well be the guitar for you. This guitar remains in excellent condition, and is priced with a TKL hard case.
