Description

Pre-owned Collings D1 Traditional, built with a torrefied Sitka spruce top in a beautiful satin sunburst finish. The T-Series guitars from Collings reflect their desire to revive the classic building techniques of the 1930's, integrating them seamlessly with the modern standards of playability and finish work for which Collings sets the bar. This D1-T has the large, rumbling voice we hear in the Collings Traditional guitars, but thanks to the torrefied top, there's a noticeable mellowness about it as well. The note attack is rounded off and drier sounding -- even more like playing a vintage guitar. We sold this guitar when it was new earlier this year to a customer who decided it wasn't the perfect fit for them, but took great care of it while giving it a try. And we can confirm, aside from a nick on the heelcap (pictured) and a modest amount of wear on the pickguard, it remains in excellent, very clean condition. Priced with TKL hard case from Collings.
