As we've come to expect with Collings guitars, the quality of this CL Deluxe is off the charts great. The neck carve feels like a cross between a late 50s Les Paul and an early 60s - Collings calls it a medium-fat C (.86"-.96"). Combined with flawless fretwork, it's extremely comfortable and the overall feel is luxurious and smooth.

The tones are fantastic, and like the overall build, a more refined take on a Les Paul. They're more open and dynamic, but still muscular and punchy. Beautiful, clear cleans coupled with sweet, midrange-drenched overdriven tones...the combo of a Collings build and Throbak's phenomenal sounding ER MXV pickups ensures you can easily cover a lot of ground.
