This satin-finished City Limits Deluxe has an incredibly flamey top that's highlighted by the Acid Wash finish, delivering up an aesthetic that's sure to stand out of the crowd.

Tonally, the Throbak ER-MXV's have great midrange but are always clear and open with just a touch of compression when you dig in. The bridge pickup has an ES-335 like bark and bite while the neck sounds woody, warm, and round (never muffled or wooly). A great combo to be sure - fitting for a guitar like this. "Expanded" Les Paul tones to match the "expanded" visuals.

With the availability of new satin-finished electrics in decline, we're not sure to see a City Limits quite like this one again. This is a truly stunning instrument that delivers the look, feel, playability, and tone only Collings can deliver.
