Description
Gorgeous 2002 Collings 000-42, featuring highly flamed Koa back and sides and an Engelmann Spruce top! The Koa/Engelmann combination (on a Collings) leads to a lyrical, and highly musical feel -- there's punch and definition aplenty, whether played fingerstyle or flatpicked, yet Engelmann's softness gives the note attack a rounded edge. Overall condition is, well, lovely for an 18-yr old guitar. Not a significant blemish to report, and the top has opened up nicely. Priced with its original TKL hard case, this one's got it all: looks, tone, and a classic appointment level!
