This used Collings 01 Traditional sounds way bigger than it looks, in part due to an Adirondack Spruce top upgrade, but also because Collings builds all of their guitars for maximum output. This beautiful, lightweight guitar takes its inspiration from an an early 1930's Martin 0, and has a lot of that warmth and woodiness in its tone. The playability is textbook Collings (which is to say, pretty darn effortless). Overall condition is very good, though it's been played and the thin lacquer finish does show some minor signs of handling, as well as a few small finish imperfections along the side of the fingerboard where the neck joins the body. If you're in the market for a small-bodied Collings Traditional guitar, the benefits to be reaped here far outweigh any signs of previous ownership.
