If you're in the market for a feather-light, great-sounding Collings, sit up and take note! This 2012 0001AC Varnish has the incredible combination of woodiness and clarity that characterize a great Collings; and it feels like a stiff gust of wind will carry it away! You may have heard that varnish is a bit more susceptible to wear than lacquer -- and it's true. This isn't a guitar for anyone who wants "mint." There are several small dings and fingernail marks scattered across the top (though unless you angle light across them they're very difficult to see). We'd still rate the condition as very good overall; and the tone gets raves as exemplary as we can dish them out. Priced with TKL hardshell case.
