Description

"It is my desire to create instruments of grace and beauty and, more importantly, tools that inspire musicians to achieve even higher levels of creativity and expression." - Ed Claxton

Santa Cruz, CA-based luthier Ed Claxton has been building guitars for over 30 years, and it's evident in the quality of his workmanship and the amazingly resonant response his guitars generate. This pre-owned 2002 EM, with Indian rosewood back and sides and German spruce top, is no exception. Ed describes the EM as his most popular model. With small jumbo sizing and shape, it has a wide dynamic range, and works well for a variety of playing styles and musical genres. Indian rosewood back and sides ensure depth and resonance, while the German spruce top provides warmth and a quick response. At nearly 20 years old, this guitar has opened up beautifully, and remains in excellent condition but for a few very minor nicks and light wear in the finish (nothing you wouldn't expect from a guitar that's been well played for years).
