This gorgeous 2019 Circa OM (from luthier John Slobod) has been turning heads at TME for a few days now. Then again, we supposed that's nothing new when it comes to one of John's guitars. This lightly built OM Cutaway features some gorgeous tonewoods: fiddleback Mahogany and bearclaw Alpine Spruce. The sound is more three-dimensional than you'd expect -- while the woody, direct qualities of a Mahogany / Spruce guitar are certainly present, there's a beautiful, glassy quality to the notes, and more interesting overtones than you might otherwise think. John's trademark responsiveness is present too: the treble strings are warm and focused all the way up the fingerboard, and bass notes project effortlessly with a satisfying resonant quality. Overall condition is excellent, with no cosemtic blemishes, a clean, sound structure, and an excellent setup. Priced with Robin's Egg Blue CrossRock case (a lightweight fiberglass alternative to larger flight cases).
