Anyone in the market for a high-quality archtop would be well served to consider a Campellone guitar - the quality far exceeds the price of entry.
We're always thrilled to have a Mark Campellone archtop in the shop. With nearing a half century as a luthier, Mark long ago earned his place among the greats of the last century.
You're immediately struck by the quality of Mark's builds the moment you pick up this guitar. Gorgeous woods are coupled with excellent finish work, fretwork, and setup. The low action and slightly chunky neck carve make the fastest jazz runs and/or tricky chord work feel effortless.
Acoustically, this guitar has a very lively, balanced tone with loads of sustain and punch. This is a very "alive" feeling instrument, as with all Mark's guitars that we've had. Plugged in, the floating pickup delivers fat, warm yet, articulate tones.
