This "18" was sold through TME back in 2021; and it's always a treat to have one of these beauties come back through the doors. Laurent Brondel's interpretation of an early 1930's OM-18 utilizes a torrefied Red spruce top, hide glue construction, carbon fiber neck reinforcement, and a super thin finish to keep the weight of the guitar low. It's a very responsive instrument, with a big, open, and glassy sound. Fingerpicking passages sound woody and clear, while flatpicking runs up the fingerboard jump out of the guitar with laserlike focus. While the guitar has been played, and sports extremely minor signs of handling, we think many customers would mistake it for new on the showroom floor. Priced with its original Ameritage hard case.
