Description
Another stellar electric from Laurent Brondel has landed in the shop!
Here's a more traditional take on the venerable telecaster design, except with a level of craftsmanship and detail we've come to expect with Laurent's builds. What's perhaps most striking about this Honeycaster is the torrefied curly maple neck, with its deep amber, brown, and red hues that provide a rich and unique aesthetic paralleled by an effortlessly playable mid/late 50s soft V to C neck carve.
The fun doesn't stop there, though. The two piece swamp ash body is light and resonant, married with a full treatment of top tier Rutters and Callaham hardware throughout. The Sea Foam Green nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives a nod to the 60s while the Budz pickups yield more of the 50s tones with more refined harmonics associated with these great pickups.
The guitar is lightly used with very minor body wear that would be too small to photograph. Frets are in excellent condition with almost no noticeable wear.
To put it simply, this Honeycaster combines all the aspects of a classic design and elevates it with a handmade quality and attention to detail that is difficult to rival. It's a hard guitar to put down.
Price includes Hiscox hardshell case.
