Description

We're excited to have a new A-2 from luthier Laurent Brondel in stock - his guitars are highly sought after, and we typically only receive one or two a year! This time around, we went with Amazon rosewood for the back and sides and left the bulk of the last A-2's platform unchanged (that was a custom guitar, made to exhibit at a show, but sounded so good we thought it'd be best to leave well enough alone). As expected, the Amazon rosewood imparts a powerful depth to this guitar's voice, which exhibits an intoxicating blend of old-world fundamental and new-world sparkle. This is one of those instruments whose sound and playability will cause you get lost in it for hours. Its lightness of build imparts a responsiveness and dynamic sensitivity that will have you exploring even the oldest songs in your stable with a new touch. An undeniable staff favorite, and one of the best sounding guitars in the shop! Priced with Hoffee carbon fiber case.
