Built on Beard's vaunted "E" body design, the JD Blackbeard is a powerful dobro that manages superior projection while retaining that uncanny warmth and soulful midrange that we have all come to associate with Douglas. For this build, we opted to add a Lollar silver foil, opening up a whole world of acoustic/electric tonal possibilities.
