The sound of Atkin's D37 PreWar combines classic golden-era boom and punch with a touch of modern glassiness, resulting in incredible volume and clarity while not wanting for warmth.
The Atkin D37 is one of the world's finest style-28 dreadnoughts. Period. Its classic stylings, including herringbone purfling, diamond & squares inlays, and tortoise-style pickguard immediately call to mind the thunderous sound of a 1930's D-28. And thankfully -- that first strum doesn't disappoint either! This is a "PreWar" variant of the D37, which features upgraded tonewoods (Adirondack Spruce and Madagascar Rosewood) alongside a more v-shaped neck for the feel, sound, and response of an old guitar. The sound combines classic golden-era boom and punch with a touch of modern glassiness, resulting in incredible volume and clarity while not wanting for warmth at all. A shop favorite guitar, to put it lightly! Priced with Atkin-branded TKL case.
