Description
We've got a couple new guitars from Portland-based luthier, Matthew Arcara, in stock -- led by this D1 Custom featuring Koa back & sides and an Adirondack Spruce top. Based on the merits of some other Koa dreadnoughts we've heard recently, ordering one from Matt seemed a gamble worth taking. And were the results ever worth it! Just as we'd suspected, this guitar has a "best of both worlds" voice: the woody crack of a great D-18 and the syrupy low end of a great D-28. This is a very lightweight instrument, with the typically excellent volume, punch and response we've come to expect from Matt's guitars. Looking for that loud, playable dread that can sit audibly in a mix and exhibit great tone when played solo? Here you go! Priced with TKL case.
