We sold this Santa Cruz H-13 when it was new, seven years ago; and it's just come back to us for consignment. This guitar is a beautiful combination of 1930's styles: Gibson's deep bodied 00, a la Nick Lucas, and Martin's beautiful all-koa construction. And what about the Koa featured on this guitar? The curly figure inherent in the wood is nearly three-dimensional, and seems to pop in different ways every time one looks at the guitar. The sound is buttery warm, with just enough articulation to ensure fingerstyle passages retain clarity and depth.
Condition: this H-13 remains in very clean condition. It's been perfectly maintained by its original owner -- always kept in its case when not in use, and humidified perfectly. There are no significant blemishes or cosmetic wear to note. Our shop has given it a fresh setup, including a fret polish. Priced with its original Ameritage case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
