One of our favorite independent builders, VA-based Thomas Rodriguez, has delivered a stunner of a Tele-Paul model he calls "Dottie".

The "Tele-Paul" has found its way into the electric guitar community's collective consciousness over the last decade or so (maybe longer). Many builders have taken a crack at making one using the recipe - combine attributes of a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul - with each resulting guitar being a unique expression.

What makes Thomas Rodriguez's work so amazing to our eyes, ears, and hands, is that his approach is old-school - meaning, it's all done by hand, the traditional way. Why does this matter? Feel.

Tommy's guitars have a remarkable responsiveness. They feel alive, soulful, and are just a joy to play. Tons of sustain...we could go on, but guitars built in this manner, by highly experienced hands, end up being a cut above. Dottie is no exception to be sure.
