This particular instrument is a 5-bar mandolin, voiced for a complex series of harmonics, maximum low-end responsiveness and omnidirectional projection. It's topped with premium Engelmann Spruce, which provides a warm, woody "pop" to the notes in the spirit of a well broken-in instrument, and is finished off with the torch headstock inlay.
