Constructed using their Authentic dreadnought body mold, and utilizing the Authentic bracing pattern and hide glue, this guitar gives us a glimpse into the kind of tone that's possible when tinkering with tradition.
We couldn't resist bringing this guitar home with us after a recent visit to the Martin Custom Shop. It was designed by Martin in-house, and turned out beautifully. Constructed using their Authentic dreadnought body mold, and utilizing the Authentic bracing pattern and hide glue, this guitar gives us a glimpse into the kind of tone that's possible when tinkering with tradition. The voice is lush, and deeply complex, with sweetness and overtones aplenty -- but the Authentic construction template provides incredible power and responsiveness. In short, this is a great, great sounding guitar that leaves nothing on the table; and it's a knockout testament to Martin's ability to make instruments that'll take on anything in the playing field. Handsomely appointed with Koa binding and an abalone rosette. Priced with Martin hardshell case.
