This new deep-bodied 00 built at the Martin Custom Shop is our way of reviving Jeff Tweedy's signature guitar -- which we were always very fond of here at TME. We picked out the flamed Mahogany sets used to build these custom guitars on a recent trip to the Martin factory ~ and it's been paired with our house favorite high-altitude European Spruce top, which amplifies clarity and richness across all registers. It's been a lot of fun getting to know this guitar since it arrived at the shop; and it gets our strongest recommendation if you're in search of a smaller guitar with serious depth of tone and responsiveness under a flatpick.
