We hand picked the mahogany sets for this run of customs to insure they not only looked great but had the right stiffness without too much mass. And man, did Martin deliver!

This super-responsive 00 delivers mounds of tone with just the right amount of woodiness. The overtones are surprisingly lush while maintaining clarity and definition. This is big-sounding 00 but if you want a bit more bass response, check out the run of 000's we had built.

The aim with this guitar was to answer the question, "What if Mahogany topped guitars existed in Martin's Standard Series?" The internal construction is identical to a 00-18. The only thing that's different is the Mahogany top (and yes, the rectangle bridge, for its sleek look).
