Why We Love This

Vintage Martin 00-18 12-frets are rare birds indeed; and whenever one comes through the shop, we marvel at how much tone comes out of such a little box! In an effort to capture some of that magic in a new guitar, we turned to the pros at the Martin Custom Shop and designed this light-weight wonder of a 12-fretter. Sinker Mahogany back & sides and a European Spruce top combine to deliver richness of tone, focus and sparkle whether you're a fingerpicker or strummer. This guitar responds beautifully to a light touch, but has plenty of gusto for backing up a fiddle or flatpicking a la Norman Blake.
