Martin CEO-10 Limited Edition Guatemalan Rosewood

Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam made some beautiful choices when designing the new limited CEO-10 (only 100 of these instruments will be made). We heartily applaud the use of FSC-Certified European Spruce for the guitar's top and braces -- we spec many of our own Customs with European Spruce, which we feel provides a unique brilliance and complexity of tone. Guatemalan Rosewood back & sides ensure richness and power; and the "Vintage Deluxe" neck profile calls to mind the slimmer of the early 1930's OMs we've had in the shop.

Cosmetically, the CEO-10 is just gorgeous, tipping its hat to Martin's golden era (Ambertone finish, inlaid pickguard), while seamlessly incorporating modern touches like flamed maple binding and a Guatemalan Rosewood pickguard. While we're often left scratching our collective heads when we look at limited edition guitars, but that's not the case with the CEO-10, which manages to balance beautiful sound and attractive looks with ease.
