This 1936 Martin 0-17 compares interestingly with the 1934 model also in stock right now. It's also in excellent, original condition, with a fresh neck reset, but features a slightly heavier build structure (as most any 1936 Martin would, when contrasted with the same model from two years earlier). This guitar has a surprising amount of punch for an all-Mahogany guitar, but its tone is dark, round and full. It'd be an excellent guitar for old-time backup, but makes for a rich playing experience by itself as well (there are all sorts of sonic colors to discover in this guitar, up and down the fingerboard). New frets have it playing beautifully, and the original finish displays just the right amount of honest wear. This guitar is priced with a Harptone hardshell case.
