We were Lowden's first US dealer when they were first starting out and have had many of their guitars come through our shop over the last four decades.  So we can say with confidence that this sensational F-50C is one of the nicest instruments that Lowden has ever built. Taking center stage is a gorgeously figured Brazilian Rosewood set that shows huge sapwood highlights and color variation.  We saw a picture of this wood set over a year ago and immediately knew we had to build an instrument with it. You simply don't see Brazilian Rosewood like this every day.  It's been a long journey to a finished instrument since we saw that initial photo, but the result more than speaks for itself!  The F size body is comfortable and endlessly versatile in it's ability to handle a wide variety of play-styles, and the Sinker Redwood top adds depth and warmth to the Brazilian Rosewood's rich sparkling tone.  It all comes together in a mesmerizing instrument that is impossible to put down.  The 38-Style Top Border, Bevel, and Leaf Inlays on the fingerboard round out the design elements and add elegant visual flair to this extraordinary instrument.
