Nik Huber has once again delivered an instrument that feels simultaneously classic and groundbreaking - exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.

With a silhouette that nods to both Gibson’s Les Paul and Fender's Telecaster heritage - while standing firmly in its own lane - this Dolphin '59 feels both alive and luxurious in-hand. Effortless to play, its setup is dialed in to a degree that makes it hard to put down. It’s the kind of guitar that keeps you exploring well past when you meant to stop.

And let’s be honest, its looks probably brought you here in the first place and we don’t blame you on bit. That Tiger Eye Burst top (with matching headstock veneer!), finished in Huber’s barely there semi-gloss finish, is just stunning. Somehow, this German crew seems to have an endless stash of jaw-dropping tonewoods.

Despite its flawless build, the Dolphin '59 never comes across as overly slick or sterile. It’s refined and elegant to be sure, but it always engaging and never boring. This guitar strikes that elusive balance between exceptional touch sensitivity, ringing sustain (even unplugged), and world-class feel.

Tonally, the Dolphin '59 offers a broad and original voice. The Haussel-built, coil-tappable humbuckers deliver punchy, mid-forward growl when you want it, and articulate clarity when you don’t. Think a thoughtful blend of Gibson heft and Fender sparkle - never muddy, always defined. This isn’t a tribute build. It’s a fully realized instrument with a voice all its own.
